Description

While public and private institutions around the world are tasked with continual evolution and expansion on infrastructural and programmatic levels – involving construction of new buildings, the launch of new initiatives or simply the repurposing of under utilised assets – to what extent are concerns about audience and community engagement and participation reflected in fundamental decisions around such development? How can institutions become more open through programming, policies and infrastructure? Can we imagine a model of programming that could mobilise diverse and previously unidentified publics? This panel will consider these questions while reflecting on paradigms of practice that are relevant and meaningful today.
