The annual Children’s Summer Art School exhibition is back this year for its second edition, following this summer’s Children’s Summer Art School, an initiative spearheaded by the foundation’s Education Programme and aimed at discovering and developing the talents and creative skills of the UAE’s students. On view from 17 August through 9 September 2019, the exhibition will present paintings by students in Bait Obaid Al Shamsi, Arts Square, Sharjah.

This year’s theme revolves around social responsibility. Participants were encouraged to portray their own methods and means of improving their community through their artwork.

Held annually, the Children’s Summer Art School is a two-month instructional programme that is followed by an exhibition of the students’ work. The programme includes both theoretical preparation and practical experience.

This exhibition is free to attend.
