Sharjah Art Foundation manages seven art centres across the Emirate of Sharjah. Located in the central and eastern regions as well as the city of Sharjah, the centres are Sharjah Art Institute, Al Hamriyah Art Centre, Al Dhaid Art Centre, Al Madam Art Centre, Kalba Art Centre, Dibba Al Hisn Art Centre and Khorfakkan Art Centre.

The art centres offer a variety of arts-based workshops and courses aimed at people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds. These activities encourage public engagement, highlight creativity and enhance the cultural experience of the local community.


Sharjah Art Foundation’s Adult Education Programme at Art Centres organises courses and workshops focusing on different aspects of contemporary art practices. The summer 2018 sessions run from 1 July to 29 August for participants aged 16 years and above. All courses and workshops are in Arabic unless otherwise indicated.

Under the patronage of Sharjah Art Foundation, Sharjah Art Institute launches the first set of new art courses for 2018. These courses aim to reveal the creative energies of the region, increase aesthetic appreciation and spread cultural awareness through combined artistic and academic education programmes.
Designed for participants aged 16 and older, the new courses will run from 8 July to 13 September 2018. Sessions will be held four times a week during both morning and evening hours.
The registration fee for each course is AED 500 per person for both morning and evening sessions.
