Course Description
Dates: Mondays to Thursdays, 12 October –5 November 2020
Timings: 9:00 am–2:00 pm
Delivery method: Mondays and Wednesdays, online;
Tuesdays and Thursdays, in class
Ages: 17+
Participants will learn how to make pottery pieces on a rotating electric potter’s wheel. They will receive instruction in how to prepare and knead clay and learn some decorative techniques used for plates, vases and cups. They will also gain an understanding of how to produce murals of different sizes and use gypsum moulds for casting ceramics.
