Overview
Through the intermingling of its diverse population, the UAE has adopted many culinary practices from other cultures, acquiring a variety of new tastes and food preparation methods. In a summer ‘hibernation’ activity to escape the sweltering UAE heat, participants in this workshop will learn how to pickle. This workshop will demonstrate the making of achaar using different ingredients and spices, and the participants can take their pickled mixtures with them to enjoy at home.
