Sumerians called Dilmun, an ancient kingdom that flourished in Bahrain, the land of eternity, land of life or land of paradise. The people of Dilmun depicted their stories and successes on circular seals that were engraved with elements and symbols from daily life. The seal is a piece of stone or clay, on the face of which a specific subject is engraved.
