Course Description
This course offers an intensive overview of the process of writing a short film script. Through a series of practical writing exercises participants write story outlines and scene-by-scene breakdowns. Sessions include an introduction to film narrative; character-driven storytelling, action and dialogue. Attention is also given to editing and formatting a screenplay.
