Workshop description
This workshop is inspired by Bani Abidi’s series ‘The Man Who…’, in which she portrays semi-fictional characters based on people whose unconventional achievements found their way into The Guinness Book of Records. Participants in this workshop will create drawings of characters they select from poetry books and then colour them in with watercolours.
Learning Outcomes
At the end of this workshop, participants will be able to
- produce a drawing of a literary character coloured with watercolours
- explain how they used their imagination to develop their representation of their character
