Workshop Description
When artist Lee Mingwei’s grandmother passed away, he still had many things to say to her but it was too late. For the next year and a half, he wrote many letters to her and shared his thoughts and feelings with her. The artist’s Letter Writing Project is a platform where visitors can write the letters they had always meant to write but have never taken the time to do so. In a similar fashion, participants in this workshop will learn the basics of letter writing, create their own postcards and then head to the nearby post office to mail them to loved ones.
