Ages: 17+
The second stage in the study of painting and drawing, this course is designed to improve participants’ skills in drawing with pencil and charcoal and enhance their technique in painting with watercolours and oil or acrylic paint. Participants will practise with a variety of subjects for still life paintings and produce drawings for gypsum sculptures. They will also be introduced to some basic principles for drawing the human face and learn the monochrome technique.
