Candle making workshop
Workshop for Children and Families

Ages: 11–15

In this workshop, participants will be introduced to the main ingredients needed to make candles and use essential oils to add fragrance to it. Later, they will transfer the wax into clay candle containers, customised and decorated by them.
Making an art journal
Workshop for Children and Families

Participants will enrich their record of different events, memories and thoughts by adding a creative feel to it. They will be using a wide variety of art concepts and techniques to make a mixed media journal, including different items, such as postcards, tickets, washi tape, decorative paper, or photographs from magazines.
Film Screening – Animation or Stop motion

A film will be screened in The Flying Saucer as part of the Children and Families programme.
