Overview
In the spirit of Ramadan giving, Sharjah Art Foundation invites you to participate in a charity campaign to help those in need by donating second-hand clothes. These clothes will be collected by SAF and upcycled through a workshop during Ramadan Nights at SAF at Gallery 1, 31 May, 2017 from 9:30 pm-12:00am, where participants and #SAFneighbourhood tailors will collaborate on revamping and restoring each piece, giving the clothes new identities. This charity campaign is an opportunity for you to engage in the process of giving by presenting the clothes as personalised gifts that maintain a sense of care and dignity. Please note that only second-hand clothes in good condition will be accepted.
Participate
To donate, please drop off the clothes to Office A, Sharjah Art Foundation, Arts Square, in front of Sharjah Art Museum or call 06-5444113. If you have any further questions, or would like to register for the revamping clothes workshop, please send an email to community@sharjahart.org.
