Overview

We are pleased to inform you that Galleries 1, 2 and 3 in Al Mureijah Art Spaces, Al Mureijah Square, and Rain Room Sharjah will be open for visitors from 26 June 2020. Following the guidance and rules set by UAE government and health authorities, the team at Sharjah Art Foundation is taking the necessary health precautions to ensure a safe environment for our community and staff.

The Foundation welcomes audiences to the major exhibition Art in the Age of Anxiety, which features works exploring art in the age of the internet by over 30 international contemporary artists and art collectives, and to Rain Room Sharjah, our permanent installation by Random International. Both the exhibition and Rain Room will be open to the public at reduced capacity.

In line with our precautionary measures to safeguard the health of our visitors and staff, those interested in viewing our current exhibition can do so by finding an available slot on our online booking system here. To ensure adherence to recommended social distancing rules, each slot will be limited to a fixed number of guests and a 45-minute viewing time.

Visits to Rain Room Sharjah will be limited to five guests per viewing and a 15-minute viewing time. Tickets can be purchased here.

There will be enhanced disinfection and sanitisation of the venues between visits. Visitors are requested to wear masks at all times in Foundation spaces.

Our venues will be open to the public from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm, Saturday to Thursday, and 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Friday.

While our guidelines may be subject to change, our team is working hard to make sure that your visit is as pleasant and safe as possible. For any enquires or questions, contact info@sharjahart.org.
