Biography

Chai Siri began practicing art in 2007, working with homeless people at Bangkok’s Royal Ground. He continues to collaborate with people from various backgrounds and professions, including fortune-tellers, construction workers and housewives.

Siri works with Apichatpong Weerasethakul at Kick the Machine Films and has collaborated with him on numerous projects. He has had solo exhibitions at various spaces in Chiang Mai, and in 2010, his films were screened at the Venice Film Festival, Italy; International Film Festival Rotterdam, the Netherlands; Hamburg International Short Film Festival, Germany and the World Film Festival of Bangkok, among other venues.
