Biography
Danah Nassief is a designer and an educator who has taught multiple courses as a design lecturer at Dar Al Hekma University in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, in addition to conducting independent workshops and talks focusing on subjects that are often overlooked in formal design education. Along with her role as an educator, Nassief also worked as an Art Director at Blueprint Communications in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, before establishing her independent practice as a design consultant for small and medium businesses. After nine years in corporate and commercial graphic design, Nassief joined the faculty of the College of Arts and Creative Enterprises at Zayed University in Dubai, where, in addition to teaching, she advised students from different disciplines on their educational and career paths. She is currently pursuing a PhD in graphic design alongside her work in design consulting practice and workshops.
