Biography

Guillaume Cassar's painstaking care and technique in binding imbues these fragments with new life and gives them a ‘second reading’. Since 1999, he has created more than 500 books utilising both traditional and modern techniques, which unify the sensibilities of the past with the intricacies of the modern and the contemporary. The pages are like threads, woven with humour and nostalgia, becoming latent yet potent reservoirs of emotion.
