Sean Gullette's career began when he co-wrote and played the lead role in Pi, directed by longtime collaborator Darren Aronofsky. He has since appeared in more than twenty films. In 2011, he returns to the screen in The Two Lives of Daniel Shore, with Nikolai Kinski, and his screenplay adaptation of Nobel Prize winner Kenzaburo Oe’s Nip the Buds, Shoot the Kids is going into preproduction.
Gullette’s debut feature as a director, Tangier, which he has authored as well, will star Kristin Scott Thomas, Jeremy Irons and Emile Hirsch and is produced by Aronofsky’s Protozoa Pictures.
