Biography
Mei Shigenobu currently is Head of Media Development and Distribution at Transterra Media and is a freelance television producer. Previously, Shigenobu worked as a television anchor for a live political talk show on Asahi Newstar (2008 – 2011). Her published books include Unveiling the 'Arab Spring'; democratic revolutions orchestrated by the West and the Media (2012) and From the Ghettos of the Middle East (2003). Her PhD research was on Arab satellite media and their effects on Arab societies.
