Overview

Published on the occasion of Anna Boghiguian’s retrospective exhibition at Castello di Rivoli Museo d’Arte Contemporanea and Sharjah Art Foundation, this catalog includes the artist’s unpublished texts and poems, a project consisting of gouaches inspired by Friedrich Nietzsche’s stay in Turin (1888–89), and critical essays by Carolyn Christov-Bakargiev, Marianna Vecellio, Hoor Al Qasimi, Chiara Vecchiarelli and a conversation between Milovan Farronato and the artist.

Alongside unpublished archival materials and commissioned essays, the monograph charts the evolution of the artist by bringing together a selection of existing texts and interviews from Y.A., Natalie Bell, Cebé, Suzanne Cotter, Marie-Michèle Cron, Jacquelyn Davis, A.E., Nuria Enguita Mayo, Eric D. Girouard, Hassan Khan, Niki Marangou, Neery Melkonian, Gamal Nkrumah, Hans Ulrich Obrist, Christos Parides, Jean-Marc Prévost, Nigel Ryan, François Roux, Hossam Sakr, Eva Scharrer, Robert Shapazian, Alan Smart, Ingrid Wassmann, Axel Wieder and Kaelen Wilson-Goldie.
