Sharjah Art Foundation conducts investigative architectural and urban research in order to incorporate the physical character, stories and historical significance into the repurposing of old structures and their reactivation into hosts of contemporary art. This essay discusses the architectural features of a kindergarten in Kalba that belongs to a prototype designed by acclaimed Arab architects in the 1970s.
