Adam Henein: Lasting Impressions

Overview

This exhibition booklet is a record of Lasting Impressions: Adam Henein, a survey exhibition of the artist’s paintings and sculptures from the 1950s until today, presented by Sharjah Art Foundation in collaboration with Sharjah Museums Authority. Recognised as one of the most prominent sculptors in the Arab world, Henein uses simple lines and abstract forms to create sculptures and modernist figures in a poetic manner. Curated by Noora Al Mualla, this exhibition showcases more than 70 works referencing universal themes, Egyptian heritage, and Ancient Egyptian symbols.
