This catalogue is a comprehensive overview of Sharjah Biennial 9 Film and Performance Programme curated by Tarek Abou El Fetouh. The book and programme explores the borders between design, the graphic arts, architecture, the folkloric arts, classical theatre, dance and contemporary art, while shedding light on the current capacity and future possibilities of the art field in Sharjah.
The book provides documentation of all the works that were part of the programme, as well as interviews and skype interviews with some of the artists.
