Overview

Yayoi Kusama: Dot Obsessions includes a diverse selection of works by the artist ranging from small-scale works on paper from the 1950s, to aggregation sculptures, large-scale paintings and a participatory installation titled The Obliteration Room. Since the age of 10, Kusama has obsessively experimented with dots and the repetition of forms, covering photographs and drawings to ‘obliterate’ the object, often referred to as self-obliterations. Also included is Kusama’s 2013 multi-media installation titled The Dots Obsession.
