Dicky Senda (b. 1986, Kapan, Armenia) is an artist and food activist who lives in the mountains of Mollo, Indonesia. He is Program Director at Lakoat.Kujawas, an arts community, public library, food lab, archive and agricultural product processing space. He disseminates Indigenous knowledge into books and zines, Indigenous education models, art residencies, festivals, village archive exhibitions and gastronomic tours, as a gesture of decolonisation. He hosted and facilitated the Tapun Ma Tatef residency in Timor involving 10 Indigenous artists from Australia, Timor Leste and Eastern Indonesia in 2023. In 2022, he received a Ford Global Fellowship. Senda is the author of several poetry collections, short stories and recipes. His latest publication Mnahat, Otes Ma Nuni (2024) researches the relationship between the clan system, food network and taboos in Mollo and was presented at the Literary Lunch at Makassar International Writers Festival 2024.
