Tom Molloy is a conceptual artist whose work in sculpture, photography, drawing and installation engages with issues surrounding globalisation, imperialism, intolerance and conflict. Recent exhibitions include the Moscow Biennial of Contemporary Art,, Russia (2013), Herbert F Johnson Museum, Cornell University, New York, USA (2012); The Khalid Shoman Foundation, Darat al Funun, Jordan (2011); Aldrich Museum of Contemporary Art, Ridgefield, USA (2010); Solstice Arts Centre, Navan, Ireland (2008) and Austin Museum of Art, USA (2008). His works are included in the collections of the Irish Museum of Modern Art, FRAC, Haute Normandie, France, The Blanton Museum of Art, Texas and Sharjah Art Foundation. Tom Molloy received his BFA in 1987 and his MFA in 1992 from The National College of Art & Design in Dublin. Molloy was the head of Painting at the Burren College of Art for ten years and he is a regular visiting artist to the college. This person was part of Sharjah Biennial 10
