Morten J. Olsen has experimented with traditionalsnare drums in the group NMO (with Ruben Patiño) and liquid vibraphones with The Pitch, and performed with Robin Hayward, Mike Majkowski and the groups the Splitter Orchestra and the New Silence. Morten’s first solo bass-drum album is forthcoming on +3dB records, using a sound palette that encompasses the history of orchestral percussion, electronics and (noise) rock.
