After studying the works of artist Michael Parekōwhai, design and shape animal sculptures that carry cultural symbolism. This four-day course begins with an introduction to Parekōwhai’s works exhibited at Sharjah Biennial 16. You will explore the intricate details in his work and the techniques he uses to create them. Then you will create your own animal sculptures from clay.

This session is free, and all materials are provided by Sharjah Art Foundation.
