Berke Can Özcan (b. 1982, Istanbul) is a musician, composer, producer and recording artist based between Abu Dhabi and Istanbul. His work spans jazz, Turkish psychedelic rock, ambient, electro-acoustic, pop and improvisation. A multi-instrumentalist, Özcan plays drums, percussion, vibraphone, gongs, samplers and piano. He is also a vocalist. His recording credits include collaborations with Arve Henriksen, Jonah Parzen-Johnson, Kenny Wollesen, Erland Dahlen and Jack Irons. He has produced and released albums such as Twin Rocks (2023) and Mountains Are Mountains (2020). Özcan’s projects extend to dance theatre performances, including The Things We Carry, sound sculpture installations, such as Found Sounds and film scoring. He has toured Europe, East Africa, the Satsunan Islands in Japan, North and South America, and the Canary Islands.
