Caroline Courrioux

Caroline Courrioux (b. 1986, France) is the head of Exhibitions & Programs at Villa Medici, Rome (2021–present). A specialist in aesthetics and visual studies, she explores the intersections of contemporary art, ecofeminism and political imaginaries through her practice. Previously, Courrioux was Head of Exhibitions at the Rencontres d’Arles (2015–2021). Among her recent curatorial projects is The Sirens Song – Water as Told by Artists (2024), which brought together works by 30 artists reflecting on water as both a physical element and a cultural narrative.
