Leah Ndahani Zawose (b. 1996, Dar es Salaam) is a Tanzanian musician. She is part of the Zawose Sisters, a duo dedicated to preserving and celebrating Gogo traditional music. Coming from the renowned Hukwe Zawose musical lineage, Leah Ndahani Zawose carries forward a heritage of rhythms and melodies. Playing instruments such as the malimba and muheme drums, she has performed both locally and internationally. Leah Ndahani Zawose is also part of the Zawose Queen Band, a group formed by the daughters and granddaughters of Hukwe Zawose. Her album Maisha, capturing the essence of life and culture through music, is available on all major digital platforms.
