Rosie Olang’ Odhiambo

Rosie Olang’ Odhiambo (b. 1993, Nairobi) is a curator, writer and bookmaker. She explores workshops, zines and artist’s books as formats for examining themes engaging with decolonial, queer, feminist and Black radical traditions. Her artistic and curatorial approach cultivates generative collaborative research processes to develop exhibitions, publications and programming that is accessible, sustainable, ambitious and liberatory. Her projects include in transit under another sky, co-curated with E.N. Mirembe (2024–ongoing), and Amplitudes of Dawn—a research and exhibition project whose framework used sonic memory and deep listening to consider the 1982 coup announcement in Kenya and what followed in its wake. She co-curated Amplitudes of Dawn with online and print journal down river road and friends (2022–2023). Currently, she is a resident at LAPA in Brixton, South Africa, as part of the collective, i continue to continue with Letaru Dralega and Precious Mhone.
