SCRAAATCH

SCRAAATCH have performed and exhibited experiments at venues in New York, including at MoMA PS1, Artists Space, The Kitchen, the Museum of Contemporary African Diasporan Arts and the New Museum, as well as in Philadelphia at the Institute of Contemporary Art, in Richmond (Virginia) at the Institute for Contemporary Art and in Lausanne at Les Urbaines. They were Harvard College Fellows in New Media (2020–2022), where they taught classes on performance and sound, and they recently attended the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture. They were also recent resident artists at the Center for Afrofuturist Studies, Iowa City, and artists-in-residence at Bemis Center for Contemporary Art, Omaha (2023). They had their first solo exhibition, Distortion Play, at Company Gallery, New York (2023).
In addition to being resident deejays on NTS Radio in London, SCRAAATCH have released Teardrops EP (2019), DON’T TALK TO ME REMIXES (2022) and Distortion Études (Bunny Jr. Tapes, 2024).

SCRAAATCH participates in Sharjah Biennial 16 as part of Bilna'es' project curated by Adam HajYahia.
