Taloi Havini (b. Bougainville, Papua New Guinea) is an interdisciplinary artist based in Brisbane. She explores themes of knowledge production, inheritance and representation, often engaging with museum collections and archives tied to her homeland. A recipient of the 2024 Artes Mundi 10 prize, she has received major commissions from several institutions, including TBA21 – Academy, Ocean Space, Venice; Dhaka Art Summit; Palais de Tokyo, Paris; Sharjah Biennial 13; and the 9th Asia Pacific Triennial of Contemporary Art, QAGOMA, Brisbane. Her works can be found in the collections of Sharjah Art Foundation, Art Gallery of New South Wales, National Gallery of Victoria and Queensland Art Gallery.
