Rossella Biscotti

Rossella Biscotti (b. 1978, Molfetta, Italy) is an artist whose practice cuts across sculpture, performance, sound works and filmmaking. She has participated in major international exhibitions, such as After Rain, Diriyah Contemporary Art Biennale (2024); the Dhaka Art Summit (2020); the 15th Bienal de Cuenca (2020); Contour Biennale (2017); Sonsbeek ‘16 (2016); the 55th Venice Biennale (2013); the 13th Istanbul Biennial (2013); dOCUMENTA (13) (2012); and Manifesta 9 (2012). Her work has been presented in solo exhibitions at Castello di Rivoli Museo d’Arte Contemporanea, Turin (2024); Kunstinstituut Melly, Rotterdam (2019); Kunsthaus Baselland, Münchenstein, Switzerland (2018); daadgalerie, Berlin (2018); V–A–C Foundation, Gulag History Museum, Moscow (2016); Museion, Bolzano (2015); Wiels, Brussels (2014); SculptureCenter, New York (2014); and Secession, Vienna (2013). In addition, Biscotti has received several international awards.
