Biennial artist Brian Martin’s use of charcoal on paper is tactile, organic and full of movement. Guided by his technique and style, work together to create an artwork on a large piece of canvas. Gather around a shaded area where the sun reflects trees, flowers or other elements, and quickly trace the shadows in charcoal before the sun moves to another area. Follow the sun, and repeat this process until the canvas is full of different sun imprints that you have collectively created.
