Performance
One Sudan One Sound of Solidarity (OSOS)
Lyrical Assembly is the first public gathering and recital of poets and musicians as part of the sonic project One Sudan One Sound of Solidarity (OSOS). Introduced by Reem Elbadawi, the performance is a collective exercise of courage, resilience and peacebuilding that revisits Sudan’s musical heritage, devotional traditions and youth struggle through poetry and ancestral wisdom rooted in multi-instrumental recitals and orature. Through a listening journey connecting historic elegies and contemporary lyrics, this performance reflects on notions of homeland, exile and freedom.
