Paint a monochromatic self-portrait—a work that uses the hues, tones, tints and shades of only one colour to create effects. Discuss ways in which identity can be revealed in art and which colours represent you. Think of your painting as a cover for your biography. Finish the session by writing a brief about yourself, and give your work a title.
