Biography
Laura Henno is a director, writer and photographer. Her films include Koropa (2016), Missing Stories (2014) and Chamonix (2003). Koropa was nominated for prizes at the Thessaloniki Documentary Film Festival and Vila do Conde International Short Film Festival. Henno received the Prix Découverte at the Rencontres Internationales de Photographie d’Arles, France (2007). Her films have been screened at Jeu de Paume, Paris; Festival international du film d’Afrique et des îles, La Réunion, France; and Free Form Festival, Warsaw, among others. Her photographic work has been exhibited at BBB Centre d’Art, Toulouse; Centre régional de la photographie Nord Pas-de-Calais, Douchy-les-Mines, France; Musée des Beaux-Arts, Dunkirk, France; Fondation Miro, Barcelona; Pavillon Vendôme, Clichy, France; and Musée d’Art Moderne André Malraux, Le Havre, France, among others.
