Students of all ages can enjoy a variety of workshops and tours designed for schools, universities and community centres.
Led by professional artists and art practitioners, the workshops help students discover their artistic talents, enhance their knowledge and technical skills, and build self-confidence.
The tours, which are usually visits to Sharjah Art Foundation exhibitions or Rain Room, function as stand-alone activities or provide important context for the activities in the workshops.
Workshops, with or without a tour, usually take two hours. Tours alone are generally 30 minutes. Booking times are available from Monday to Thursday, 10:00 am–1:00 pm.
Sessions are conducted in Arabic and/or English, depending on the needs of the students. All workshops and tours, except for visits to Rain Room (where the admission charge is discounted for students), are free and open to all. Materials are provided by the Foundation. Sessions take place in the Collections Building, Arts Square, Sharjah.
