Each artist is developing a project that was initiated during a series of introductory workshops that Tarek Atoui held in different Arab countries. These workshops aimed to introduce the participants to how interactive technologies may be applied to art forms such as sound, performance and installation. The artists now come together in Sharjah to build on these first ideas and make a collective public presentation of the completed projects.

The participating artists are Aya Tarek (Egypt), Ayah Younis (Jordan), Basel Abbas (Palestine), Mohammad Nabil (Egypt), Sarah Faruki (Palestine), Shaikha Al Mazrou (UAE).

A public presentation of the performances and installations will be held on Tuesday 30 November at 7:30 pm in Bait Al Serkal, Sharjah Arts Area.
