استضافت مؤسسة الشارقة للفنون اليوم الثاني من مؤتمر "ريفيرْسابِل: سرد الهوية من الداخل للخارج ومن الخارج للداخل"، المنظم من قبل جامعة نيويورك أبو ظبي بالتعاون مع مشروع "ابحث" (بناء حوارات بين الثغرات).

يدعو بينالي الشارقة 12: الماضي، الحاضر، الممكن أكثر من 50 فناناً وممارساً ثقافياً ينتمون إلى أكثر من 25 دولة لطرح أفكارهم حول "الممكن" من خلال فنونهم وأعمالهم.

استضافت مؤسسة الشارقة للفنون 53 عضواً من اللجنة الدولية للمتاحف ومجموعات الفن الحديث (CIMAM) وذلك في بداية جولة استمرت على مدار يومين حول الإمارات.

It is easy to get lost in the labyrinthine passages, baking courtyards and rooftop terraces of the Sharjah Biennial, this year featuring over 100 artists and 42 newly commissioned works, many of which chart the cartography and choreography of space.

On Friday October 12 in London, acclaimed Lebanese sound artist Tarek Atoui will transport audiences through a lost world of Arabic culture with his trance-inducing La Suite, a five-hour performance piece inspired by classical Arab music.
