Overview

Inspired by everyday expressions and phrases, and influenced by their own cultures, participants in this workshop will employ traditional carving techniques to create humorous hand-carved rubber stamps. They will learn how to use carving tools, inks and mounting techniques to personalise their stamps.

About the instructor

Mouza Al Hamrani is an illustrator and multimedia designer whose work spans a wide range of mediums, such as digital and traditional illustration, printmaking and graphic design. Her work is highly stylised and often incorporates graphic elements and humorous captions.
