In conjunction with the exhibition Sharjapan 3–Remain Calm: Solitude and Connectivity in Japanese Architecture, on view at Sharjah Art Foundation until 1 October 2021, curator Yuko Hasegawa and Sharjah Art Foundation President and Director Hoor Al Qasimi, discuss the blurred boundaries between architecture, fine art and design. Drawing on divergent contexts, from Sharjah to Japan, this talk will explore forms of architectural practice, from past to present, and the principles that underpin them.
