This panel discussion seeks to explore the themes of Making
New Time, one of the three Sharjah Biennial 14 platforms.
Presenting numerous propositions about how time can be
presented in relation to the artistic, urban and architectural
environments of the so-called Global South, this panel
seeks to pose questions about narratives of modernity in
the context of an age of accelerating globalisation. After
each speaker offers a five-minute proposition, a roundtable
discussion will follow.
