Learn all about beekeeping and how this sustainable practice can be incorporated into the everyday urban environment. Understand the importance of the honeybee in the UAE ecosystem and its vital role in food production globally. The workshop will cover the basics of setting up a small apiary, taking care of the beehive and bees, and extracting the honey. You can also experience a tasting menu inspired by honey and prepared by Moza Almatrooshi.

The Agriculture School, a public programme accompanying Almatrooshi’s work at SB15, includes workshops, photowalks, discussions and meals that aim to build a framework of knowledge about agricultural practices in different natural and urban environments and the relationship that farmers and consumers have with these environments.
