In response to Dala Nasser’s artworks in the exhibition Surface Tension, participants will be working with natural materials such as turmeric and sumac to make colours. These colour mixtures will then be applied onto canvas fabrics.
Ages: 6–10
In this workshop participants will learn more about the natural dyeing process and how various colour tonalities can be achieved. They will be making use of natural materials such as black tea, pomegranates and hibiscus leaves to learn how they can be treated into becoming fabric dyes.
