In this workshop, participants will create portraits out of cut pieces of cardboard. Informed by artist Al Anood Al Obaidly’s technique of creating collage compositions using cardboard, they will start working on a flat board, add an outline and then build with pieces of different shapes to make a full face.
In this workshop, participants will be using simple cardboard and glue to construct their own model of the architecture around them. They can add cars, trees and animals to the city they create. This activity will open their minds to the role of architecture in people’s lives.
