Course: Basics of Filmmaking and Acting
in collaboration with Sharjah Tv
Dates: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 25–27 October 2022
Timings: 5:00 pm–7:00 pm
Location: Collections Building, Arts Square
Ages: 11–15
Languages: English and Arabic
Filmmaking Crew
Over the course of two days, participants will be introduced to the various elements of filmmaking, such as storytelling, storyboards, lighting, filming and editing. After this, they will be divided into groups make a short film, along with the Acting Crew.
Acting Crew
Participating actors will work under the guidance of an instructor to learn how to connect to a scene and make specific, simple and personal choices while portraying a character. After this, they will link up with another workshop and perform roles in the short films produced by the Filmmaking Crew.
