Taking place following the opening of the major solo exhibition ‘Rayyane Tabet: Exquisite Corpse’ at Sharjah Art Foundation, this online talk features artist Rayyane Tabet in conversation with Omar Dewachi (Associate Professor of Anthropology, Rutgers University); Uzma Z. Rizvi (Associate Professor of Anthropology and Urban Studies); Andrea Wallace (Senior Lecturer in Law, University of Exeter); and Ryan Inouye (Senior Curator, Sharjah Art Foundation). Working in the fields of political science, anthropology, and copyright and intellectual property law, the speakers contextualise central concepts explored in the exhibition.
