Overview
Using a film camera, participants will take part in a short photo shoot to capture the lively and bustling streets, alleyways, shops and people of #SAFneighbourhood. They will then be introduced to the step-by-step process of developing their 35mm film, employing methods introduced in this workshop. This workshop is for hobbyists and seasoned photographers alike who have some experience with film photography and would like to learn the traditional
techniques for processing film. Participants in this workshop should bring along their own film camera and a 35mm roll of film.
About the instructor
Mazna Almazrouei is a film photographer based in Abu Dhabi. Passionate about street photography, she mainly shoots with black and white film, which she develops and prints in her darkroom. She has worked in film photography for the last eight years and offered several workshops on the subject in the UAE.
